SUNDAYS AT PARKSIDE
9:00 am – Nursery / Preschool / Kid’s Bible Discipleship Classes
10:45 am – Nursery / Preschool / Kids Church
Sunday Mornings at Parkside offer fun opportunities for children ages newborn to 6th grade. Our Nursery and Preschool operate in both the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. hours. Kids Bible Disciplemaking Classes are offered during the 9:00 a.m. hour.
At 10:45 a.m., children K-6th grades are invited to join us in Kids Church. Parkside uses curriculum to teach the Bible lesson creatively through storytelling, contemporary music, and other various teaching methods. We want our children to keep coming back to learn more about the awesome God of the universe and the Savior who loves them.
Nursery (Birth – 3rd birthday)
Be assured that our Nursery staff will provide your little one with loving, competent and tender care while you are involved in the ministries of Parkside Chapel. Our Nursery offers a welcoming and engaging environment, colorfully decorated in a vibrant jungle theme. Nursery staff enjoy playfully interacting with both infants and toddlers, using the many age-appropriate toys provided. A securely gated exterior play area is also available for the older toddlers (weather permitting) and is accessible only with adult supervision.
We take good health seriously by ensuring all toys, chairs, tables, crib, blankets or anything else that comes in contact with our children is properly sanitized with hospital grade Hydrogen Peroxide. It provides protection against a variety of viruses, bacteria and mold. All nursery staff wear gloves when changing diapers, providing food, and when cleaning.
Children are special to us, and this is why our Children’s Ministries is staffed by over 80 Parkside volunteers who have gone through a thorough application process, background check, and training. You can feel assured that you have quality, loving and Godly volunteers caring for and teaching your children. Our policy is that no child will be left alone with a staff member; two or more staff will be present at all times.
For security, each child is issued a security number and parents are provided with the duplicate. These numbers are used to positively identify each child before he/she is released from the Nursery.
